Crib Mattress: Round or Standart?

However, there are a few drawbacks of round cribs. Still, they are connected mostly with the question of price. A round crib mattress is smaller (42’’) than a standard crib mattress (52’’x 28’’) which results in a longer crib period for a baby with a latter crib. Still there is an opportunity to slowly switch the baby from a crib to a bed with the help of jr. bed. This bed type is lower than a regular twin bed and has side guards in order to prevent the fall of your baby. What is more, jr. bed can be fit with a standard crib mattress as a result you don’t need to waste your money on a new mattress during the starting period of toddler transition to a bed.
